On the girls side, Corrina Jurczyk was Norton's first runner and prevented Dover-Sherborn, last year's state champions, from a perfect score. Freshman Caroline Weber placed third for the Lancers, right behind senior captain Alison Alioto. Rounding out fourth and fifth for the Lady Lancers was senior captains Brittany Alioto and Katie D'Onofrio. The girls are now at 2-6.

The Lancers will next travel to Westwood Wednesday, Oct. 10.
