Norton's Schwieger Signs With St. Louis Rams

Former Bishop Feehan standout Nick Schwieger signed a free agent contact to play for the St. Louis Rams.

 

Norton's Nick Schwieger, a former standout at Bishop Feehan, signed a free agent contract with the St. Louis Rams.

After going undrafted after an outstanding career at Dartmouth College, Schwieger inked a contract shortly after the draft ended.

At Dartmouth, Schwieger was one of the top running backs in the school's history, finishing his senior year with 1,310 yards and 10 touchdowns on 241 carries. He also caught 23 passes for 119 yards, earning third team Associated Press honors. 

The 5 foot, 10 inch, Schwieger is first in all-purposed yards at Dartmouth with 4,115. His 26 career touchdowns are second.

At Feehan, Schwieger led the Shamrocks to the Division 2 Super Bowl title, scoring 28 touchdowns and running for 2,182 yards as a senior.

In training camp, he will be trying to impress new head coach Jeff Fisher enough to earn a roster spot with the Rams.
