Norton's Allen Captains Tufts University Women's Track Team

Former Norton High standout Kelly Allen is a senior tri-captain for the Tufts University women's indoor track team.

Allen is a returning All-American and was the national runner-up in the discus during the outdoor season and placed sixth in the weight throw at the indoor NCAA Championship. She has also won several NESCAC and New England titles in multiple throwing events over her three-year career.

At the UMass-Boston Invitational, Allen was first in the weight throw at 53 feet, 8.5 inches.

The Jumbos will be in action Jan. 12 when they host the Tufts Invitational.
