Men's Track & Field Participates In Joe Donahue Games

Underclassmen lead Lyons at Northeastern meet.

The Wheaton College men's track & field team finished in 13th place at the second annual Joe Donahue Games, hosted by Northeastern University, at the Reggie Lewis Center Friday.

Other schools who participated included Northeastern, Stonehill, Vermont, UMass Amherst, Maine, Hartford, Cobleskill, New Hampshire, Holy Cross, Boston College, Brown University and Williams. 

Some highlights include Wheaton finishing ninth overall in the 4x400 meter relay with senior Howard Manly (Ayer, Mass./Lawrence Academy), freshman Sam Miklovich (Gray New Gloucester, Maine/Gray New Gloucester), sophomore Nathan Sheridan (Albuquerque, N.M./Desert Academy) and Spinu finishing in 3:32.75.
