Lyons Get Hero's Welcome Home

Wheaton baseball team nabs conference and regional crown, but not championship.

The Wheaton Lyons baseball team returned to Norton with their heads held high as Div. III National Championship runners up Thursday. They were greeted by friends and family and honored by President Ronald Crutcher.

For the second time in six years, the Lyons finished second in the tournament. They won against St. Thomas, SUNY Cortland and Webster before falling to Marietta in the championship round of the College World Series.
