The registration deadline for Norton Youth Soccer's fall recreational season is May 31.
The fall season runs nine consecutive weekends, starting in early September and ending in early November. Players practice once a week with games on Saturdays at . Norton boys and girls born Aug. 1, 1997 through July 31, 2007 are eligible. NYS uses an online registration system for Fall recreational signups. There are no walk-in signups. The registration link is now available on the Fall Recreational page of the NYS website.
Registration is also open for NYS’s popular week long Summer Clinic. New this year, a second week has been added. A brochure can be downloaded from the NYS Summer Clinic page of the NYS website. Norton Public Schools are seeking students who left to serve in the armed forces and never returned to get their diplomas.
Each year, the Norton Public Schools intends to award honorary diplomas to veterans who left school to join the armed forces during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War. This year’s Norton High graduation will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at Comcast Center.
Those who wish to receive their diplomas should contact superintendent Dr. Patricia Ansay at 508-285-0101 by May 31.
