Boys Cross Country Earns Best Personal Record in TVL History [Photo Gallery]

Girls lose to dominant Holliston team.

Norton boys varsity cross country acheived a 34-22 victory over Holliston Wednesday while girls lost 49-15.

Billy Sullivan came in first with Max Marcotte, Mik Tierney, Cam Eisnor and Mason Rouillard right behind. The boys are now 7-3, their best record in the Tri-Valley League history. Thirteen runners achieved personal records.

Though the girls acheived six personal records for themselves, they fell to Holliston. Corina Jurczyk put a stop to the Panthers potential perfect score by coming in 7th.

Norton will next compete in the Tri-Valley League Championships Tuesday at McCarthy Park in Medfield at 3:25 p.m., followed by girls varsity at 4 p.m.
