Update: Norton Residents Wrap-Up 2012 Boston Marathon

Andrei Kutlin was the first Norton resident to finish the 2012 Boston Marathon.

Kutlin finished the 26.2-mile course in 3:55:33 hours, according to the race's official website. Karen Kelleher was the first woman from Norton to cross the finish line.

Kutlin, 47, finished 7,486 overall, 5,538 among men and 966 in his division of men age 45 to 49. Kelleher, 51, earned 17,845th place overall, 7,119th for the women and 599th in her division. Wesley Korir of Kenya was the first man to cross the finish line with an official time of 2:12:40. Kenya's Sharon Cherop finished in 2:31:50. Canada's Joshua Cassidy finished first in the men's wheelchair race with 1:18:25, breaking the previous record by 2 seconds. Shirley Reilly of the United States won the women's wheelchair race, setting a personal best time of 1:37:36.
