Three Norton Youths Finalists in Chamber Contest

Victoria Vaphiades, Lily Grace and Daniel Clapp write their favorite summer memories for Back to School contest for Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.

Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce has announced that three Norton youths have been named finalists in the Back to School Buy Local Favorite Summer Memory Contest.

They are Victoria Vaphiades, Lily Grace Holloway and Daniel Clapp. Other finalists are Jack Moussette of Mansfield, Kara Hart of Mansfield and Paulina Baczkowski of Foxborough.

“We want to congratulate all of the kids entered the contest,” said Kara Griffin, executive director of the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.  “They made our decision very difficult because they were all so good!”

The winner will be determined by the general public. Finalist entries are located on the Tri-Town Chamber Blog. Once you have read all the entries, select your favorite writer's name from the left hand column and click the blue "Like" button to vote. Only Facebook Likes appearing on the actual essay page will count as a vote.

Voting ends at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24. The essay with the most Facebook Likes will win the grand prize valued over $300. The winner will be announced Aug. 27. Prizes will be presented at a awards ceremony breakfast at the Deutsche Bank Championship Aug. 29. Winners and their families are invited.
