Norton Resident to Consider Playing Football for University of Charleston

UPDATE: Tyler Loring has put his college plans on hold.

 

Catholic Memorial School senior Tyler Loring of Norton has committed to play football at the University of Charleston next year, where he will continue his studies.

 Loring, who was a lineman for the Knights, started his studies at before transferring to CM, where he has earned a place on the honor roll each year.

 "Congratulations to our Knights who are going on to compete at the next level," said Catholic Memorial athletic director and head football coach Alex Campea. "I think they made great choices and I can't say enough for them. They have done a great job for us as athletes and leaders.”
