The following is a list of Norton residents and the honors that they have received at various colleges and universities in the United States. This list will be updated periodically, so be sure to check back later.

Cameron Parker  Rochester Institute of Technology Cameron Parker, a fourth-year student in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, made the dean's list for the winter 2013 quarter. Mitchell Weeks  Worcester Polytechnic Institute Weeks, a first-year student majoring in robotics engineering, has been named a Charles O. Thompson Scholar for the 2012-2013 academic year. Molli Barron University of Massachusetts, Lowell Barron was named to the fall 2012 dean's list. Barron is majoring in psychology. Matthew Pelletier University of Massachusetts, Lowell Pelletier was named to the fall 2012 dean's list. Pelletier is majoring in exercise physiology. Taryn Kitchen Connecticut College A member of the Class of 2016, Kitchen was named to the dean's high honors list for the 2012 fall semester. Alexandra M. Bishop

Coastal Carolina University

Bishop, an elementary education pre-major major was among approximately 1,800 students from Coastal Carolina University who made the fall 2012 dean's list. Heather Sanford Providence College  A resident of Norton and a member of the Class of 2013, Sanford has been named to the 2013 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Sanford, who is majoring in History, is among 42 Providence College students named to the annual listing which recognizes outstanding campus leaders nationwide.  Dorsey, son of Francis Dorsey amd Laren Young-Dorsey of Norton was selected for the 2012-2013 academic year to be a Resident Assistant for the Office of Student Life at Saint Michael's College. Dorsey is a senior history and secondary education double major.

Resident Assistants are selected on the basis of faculty and staff recommendations. They display excellent leadership abilities, maturity and likelihood of being good role models for their peers. As a resident assistant, he or she lives in a campus residence hall and is readily available to help students. RAs (as they are called) oversee and provides guidance as needed or requested for 40 to 50 student residents of the hall.
