Dean's list Holly Mello Mello was named to the Roberts Wesleyan College dean's list for outstanding academic performance for the spring 2012 semester. She received higher honors. Dean's list Caroline Allen Allen was named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute's dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester. She is a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering. Dean's list Joseph Cacaccio Cacaccio was named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute's dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester. He is a sophomore majoring in biochemistry. Dean's list Andrew Botelho Botelho was named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute's dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester. He is a freshman majoring in computer science. Graduate, Who's Who Alicia E. Scanlan Scanlan, a nutritional science major, was among 2,900 graduates on May 26 who received diplomas at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell. Daughter of Marlene Johnson, Benjamin was honored with the Richard F. Nash Memorial Award from Marquette University's Department of Psychology. Benjamin graduated in May with a bachelor of arts in psychology. Benjamin was selected for the award for her psychological research paper best demonstrating the application of statistics. She received $100 and a certificate.

Graduate Kiersten Dichiaro

Dichiaro was honored for receiving a degree from California Lutheran University at the Graduate Commencement Ceremony on May 11. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree in management and organizational behavior.

A student at Ursuline Academy, Jones was named the 2012 recipient of the Saint Michael's College Book Award for Academic Achievement with a Social Conscience. The award recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in volunteer service and academic achievement.

Graduate Carolynn Ohlson Ohlson received a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering with high distinction at the 144th commencement at Worcester Polytechnic Institute May 12.
