Study: Bristol County 12th Healthiest in Massachusetts

Among Massachusetts' 14 counties, only Suffolk County and Hampden County were worse off than Bristol County according to the study.

Is Bristol County the healthiest place in Massachusetts to live? Not according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

In a recent study done by the Foundation called "County Health Rankings and Roadmaps," Bristol ended up 12th in the state, with Suffolk in 13th place and Hampden in 14th. Norton is part of Bristol County. According to the study Duke County is the healthiest.

In measures ranging from adult obesity and insurance coverage to premature death and teen birth rates, Bristol County was lower than the state average.
