Norton selectmen agreed last week to disband the local housing partnership committee, citing inactivity.

Board of Selectman Chair Robert Kimball, who had been the local housing parternship committee's chair for nearly a decade, said the committee has not met in years.

The committee was comprised of selectmen appointees and positions were not elected. In addition to Kimball, fellow selctman Robert Salvo served on the committee along with Kami McMorrow, Leon Dumont.
