Kimball Apologizes to Candidates

Conservation Commission position still open.

Following up from last week's meeting, selectman Bob Kimball apologized for comments he made about finding someone for the conservation commission position.

“We are looking for someone open-minded, and doesn’t have an ax to grind so to speak,” . “I’m looking for someone who just wants to come and serve the town. No hidden agenda, just wants to come in and do what they think is best,” added selectmen Robert Kimball.

According to the Sun Chronicle, Kimball said he reviewed the comments in news accounts and by watching a replay of the board's meeting. "That wasn't a fair assessment of the candidates," he said.
