(From Congressman Joe Kennedy's office)

Congressman Joe Kennedy announced Friday that he will participate in a Congressional delegation to Israel next week. Led by Congressman Steny Hoyer, Kennedy and 36 other Members of Congress will spend a week traveling across Israel, Palestine and the surrounding region. The trip will take place from Aug. 5-11 and this is Congressman Kennedy’s second visit to Israel.

“As Israel and Palestine renew peace talks, this trip will give us a chance to witness firsthand the numerous factors affecting lasting stability in the region,” said Congressman Kennedy. “It will underscore the deep friendship between Israel and the United States, as well as the strong alliances we share on everything from global security to economic development and immigration.”
