Woman Shot by State Trooper Not Satisfied with Consequences

Cheryl Blair, the woman accidentally shot by hunter and state trooper John Bergeron on New Years Eve, doesn't understand why he will not face any charges.

Fox News reports that she has $1 million in medical bills and still requires physical therapy to walk normally. Blair's husband, who has hunted with Bergeron in the past, said that the state trooper was careless on the day of the shooting.

Bergeron thought the woman walking with her two dogs at the time was a deer. with the bullet from a muzzle loader, a single-shot rifle, and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

A civil case between Blair and Bergeron is pending.
