@ John McEachern, I wouldn't send my kids to a disgusting public school! I would buy them a MacBook and an iPad. That is the wave of the future. Teachers have become obsolete, I learn more on Google in wiki than I ever did in the public school system. I'm surprised none of the Massachusetts State police made the list of the most wanted, considering all the troopers arrested the last few years! And all your various town cops who have been arrested for beating their wives and molesting children! Imagine all the ones who haven't been caught yet !

@Joe: I'll stop reading the Patch and commenting when I feel like it. However, the factual information I presented cannot be disputed. Patch has laid off hundreds of editors. AOL should be made aware that its readers are displeased. These types of forums are the best way to do it. Trust me, I'm very aware that nobody makes me read the Patch. Why do my comments make you feel uncomfortable? If you enjoy the site, another readers displeasure shouldn't effect you.
