Water Fouls in Norton Police Log: June 16 - 17

The following information was supplied by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, June 16
12:19 p.m.: Taylor Court, general disturbance. Civil neighbor dispute over parking spots at a
condo complex. Subjects advised and they will be handling issue through condo association.
12:49 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident, car versus deer. Vehicle left under own power, no sight of deer.
1:04 p.m.: Reinhard Drive, restraining order violation.
6:55 p.m.: W. Main Street, suspicious condition. Three females attempted to buy tobacco products but had no id. Now outside asking patrons to buy for them. Requesting an officer to remove them from the property. Girls advised and are on their way.
7:33 p.m.: Richardson Avenue, general disturbance. Report of a loud party. Neighbor requesting
officers to quiet them down. Small party of adults in backyard with a DJ advised.
9:16 p.m.: Island Road, general disturbance. Caller reports kids down the road are having a party and are getting loud, also reports what sounds like gunshots but could be fireworks. Spoke to homeowner and he was advised of complaint. Also spoke to another person who reports he believes it may have been some kids a few houses down shooting bottle rockets in the street.

Sunday, June 17
1:03 a.m.: Shelly Road, general disturbance. Caller reports being woken up by yelling outside. The yelling has stopped but there is a car outside with its lights on and has been there for 20 minutes. Officer spoke to one of those parties, other left. Possible mother/daughter argument.
12:46 p.m.: E. Main Street, two-car motor vehicle accident. Less than $1,000 in damages.
3:03 p.m.: Juniper Road Beach, general disturbance. Caller reports a male on a speedboat going 70 to 80 mph on the Reservoir driving it recklessly. He reports EP may not be able to send anyone out. Boat just pulled up to Juniper Beach. Driver advised.
4:32 p.m.: E. Main/Holmes Street, two-car motor vehicle accident.
5:34 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident with injuries. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Vehicles removed.
6:17 p.m.: Sailors Lane, medical emergency. Multiple callers report a boat has capsized in the water. Occupant out of water. Subject and his kayak were dropped off at his vehicle.
