Tresspassing, Syringes and Car Accident

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 31:

3:57 p.m. South Washington St.

A caller requested officers to remove two females that have been asked to leave  the property in the past. She reported they are on the "do not rent" list and management has asked the police be contacted to remove them if they came back.

The caller reported that one has been found in an empty room by housekeeping.

Police found two females to have trespassed and they were transported to their residence.

11:23 p.m. East Main St.

A few males were reported to be at the center of town with open containers. Parties were advised and a report will be filed with the college.

Sept. 1

12:59 p.m. Taunton Avenue

An annonymous male reported he was jogging on the 140 area of Barrows St. and the entrance to a path in that area had several syringes. Police reported a search of the area was negative.

Sept. 2

9:49 a.m. West Main St.

Police assisted with a 79 year-old lethargic and not moving well. The patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Sept. 3

8:49 a.m. Mansfield Avenue

Police responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident with an injury.
One person was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
