Threats Made by Yelle Student in Norton Police Log: Dec. 15 - 20

*Editor's Note* This police log was due to run the week of Dec. 24, but because of technical difficulties could not be posted until today. The latest logs are scheduled to run on Norton Patch later this week.

Saturday, Dec. 15
12:32 a.m.: N. Washington Street, harassment/threats. Caller reports receiving phone threats from a relative.
1:01 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, breaking and entering of a residence. Female reports she is in Attleboro and her boyfriend texted her that there was a possible breaking and entering into residence. Boyfriend reports he is in back room of a mobile home with child.  Caller reports door was locked heard foot steps and the front door was now open. Patrolman Schepis reports unit checks clear. Entry was made but not forcefully. Does not appear anything was taken. Schepis also reports only thing out of place was the refrigerator door was open.  Possibly someone entered by mistake.
6:54 a.m.: Arrowhead Drive. Police arrested Shawn Thomas Holland Jr., 18, of Arrowhead Drive, and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
9:17 a.m.: Fordham Drive, vandalism. Caller reports vehicle was parked overnight and the convertible top was ripped.
10:23 a.m.: Larson Farm Drive, suspicious condition. Detective Franco reports his cruiser got hit with a pumpkin, has six kids in front of him. Parents of three of the juveniles are coming to pick them up. Three juvenile males to the station. They are making arrangements to get picked up.

Sunday, Dec. 16
11:22 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. No injuries.
9:41 p.m.: E. Main Street, assisted Easton Police Department for vehicle lookout. Two white males in a blue GMC Acadia involved in a smash and grab at Easton Sunoco.

Monday, Dec. 17
7:23 a.m.: Barrows Court, breaking and entering of two unlocked motor vehicles. Change taken. Advised to keep the vehicles locked.
11:29 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, breaking and entering of five unlocked motor vehicles. Change taken.
2:17 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident with injury. Taken to hospital.
3:13 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, domestic disturbance.
3:18 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports she was just rear ended.
3:33 p.m.: S. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports she is in a mental hospital and two people who took $600,  a Red Cross card and her car are at Extended Stay. She would like to report her property stolen. Sergeant Eisnor reports he spoke with the manager of Extended Stay, and her property is at Extended Stay, but her car is not on the premises.
10:14 p.m.: Barrows Court, breaking and entering of an unlocked motor vehicle. Nothing taken.

Tuesday, Dec. 18
7:45 a.m.: Lincoln Street, breaking and entering of an unlocked motor vehicle. GPS and change stolen.
8:02 a.m.: Lincoln Street, breaking and entering of an unlocked motor vehicle. Wallet stolen, which contained credit cards and debit cards.
8:21 a.m.: Lincoln Street, breaking and entering of unlocked motor vehicles. Change was
taken along with a pair of boots.
9:39 a.m.: Lincoln Street, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Items were taken.
10:00 a.m.: W. Main Street, harassment/threats. Detective Franco speaking to parent at Norton High regarding harassment. Advised to obtain a 209A order and he will be following up with the other party.
10:38 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, juvenile offense. Subject into station reporting pictures of underage daughter have been reportedly found online.

Wednesday, Dec. 19
12:58 p.m.: Eddy Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports car in the woods, reporting no injuries. Taunton Police Department on scene.
6:30 a.m.: John Scott Boulevard, animal incident. Caller reports she hit a deer. Removed.
12:53 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Both vehicles removed, one transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
3:14 p.m.: Kensington Road, fraud/embezzlement. Walk in reporting fraud with Paypal, Northeast Savings Bank and Walmart.
4:26 p.m.: Dean Street, vandalism. Caller reports there is damage to the gate on her fence.  
6:51 p.m.: Faith Way, suspicious condition. Caller reporting another resident of Faith Way is tampering with the street light.
7:13 p.m.: John Scott Boulevard, larceny of tool boxes from property.

Thursday, Dec. 20
8:28 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Multiple callers reporting wires taken down by a truck. Pole is snapped with primaries down and driver is still in the truck. National Grid notified. Easton Police will be sending a cruiser to stop traffic on their end. Poles are Bell Atlantic, Verizon notified. East Main Street at Burt Street is closed. Wires removed from vehicles. National Grid was out last night checking on these wires but it was Verizon and cable that were low. Patrolman Chmielinski reports a disagreement between two Verizon workers. They
have been separated. Area cleared.
8:51 a.m.: Holmes Street, motor vehicle accident. Car into woods. Patient refusal. Vehicle towed.
11:41 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Transport to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
12:08 p.m.: Cobb Street, larceny. Caller reports three males in a white pickup backed down her neighbors driveway, struck his van and stole items from the yard. Area check negative. Report was taken, homeowner will be having some pictures developed from surveillance
cameras.
12:29 p.m.: E. Main Street, harassment/threats. Walk-in reporting threatening emails.
1:03 p.m.: E. Main Street, fraud/embezzlement. Caller reporting fraud to a bank account.
3:31 p.m.: W. Main Street, harassment/threats. Threats at the Yelle School.  Detective Franco will be following up with the school staff and vice principal tomorrow. Report taken.
6:40 p.m.: Maple Street, harassment/threats. Patrolman Greco reports himself, Sergeant Eisnor and Detective Franco enroute to speak with parents regarding threats made by their son. House checked and no access to firearms found.
