Suspicious Photographers in Norton Police Log: Sept. 12 - 14

Wednesday, Sept. 12
7:45 a.m.: Old Colony Road, motor vehicle theft. Abandoned 911 call. On callback, male reporting stolen truck.
12:28 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports two-car accident with no injuries. No fluid leaks. Male states his back is sore, but he will drive himself to the hospital. Both vehicles left under their own power. More than $1,000 in damage.
1:50 p.m.: N. Worcester Street, police arrested David E. Fondacaro, 21, of S. Worcester Street, and charged him with larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny of more than $250 and operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
1:31 p.m.: Rock Lane, breaking and entering of a residence. Canvass complete.
10:22 p.m.: Acorn Road, fraud/embezzlement. Caller reports she was a victim of credit card fraud. Credit card company caught it, but today she received a package with two money orders totaling $1,800, made out to someone in Florida and she thinks the two incidents are related.   Caller came into the station with the checks and filed a report.

Thursday, Sept. 13
1:38 a.m.: Harvey Street, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports jewelry taken from the residence sometime when she was not at home last night. Caller also reports she also believes who possibly could of taken it. No forced entry to residence. Rear entrance had been unsecured and key in the door. Report taken.
9:54 a.m.: Cross Street, larceny. Resident reports compressors were cut from Pepsi vending machines in the backyard.
8:08 a.m.: E. Main Street, harassment/threats. Caller reports receiving harassing and threatening phone calls and will be in to file a report. Names of subjects given.
10:27 a.m.: Depot Street, Easton, assisted Easton Police Department. Search for vehicle involved in purse theft. Patrolman Greco, working a detail on Bay Road, reports they attempted to stop that vehicle and the female operator did not slow down and almost struck them. Vehicle got onto Route 495, unknown if it was north or southbound. Police advised. Easton Police report female has been taken into custody by Taunton Police.
12:54 p.m.: E. Main Street, suspicious condition. Possible elder abuse.
2:16 p.m.: W. Main Street, larceny by check. Suspect spoken to, she will be paying the full amount. Situation rectified.
3:06 p.m.: King Philip Road, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports she just got home and her house was broken into.
3:52 p.m.: E. Main Street, assisted Easton Police Department. They just had a breaking and entering and the suspect’s motor vehicle is believed to be heading via 106 towards Mansfield. All advised.
5:01 p.m.: Lincoln Street, suspicious condition. Male in white sedan stopped to take pictures of caller’s 16-year-old son in front of his residence. Caller reports he followed the motor vehicle to Bay Road to Route 495 which is how he got the registration.

Friday, Sept. 14
2:07 a.m.: Taunton Avenue, assisted another police department. A non-student grabbed a female on campus. Male has been trespassed.
9:26 a.m.: Plain Street, trespassing.
3:56 p.m.: Reservoir Street, motor vehicle accident. Multiple callers report accident. One confirmed injury and a fluid leak. Transporting one to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Reservoir is back open.
5:55 p.m.: Young Avenue, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports house was broken into.  
6:21 p.m.: Plain Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports there is a suspicious male taking pictures of a vacant house. Subject says he was taking pictures of scenery. Husband of reporting party called back to report that there is no way suspect was taking scenery pictures,  and that he has seen that subject in the neighborhood before.
8:56 p.m.: Shelly Road, general disturbance. Caller whispered that someone is trying to kill her.  All cars en route. Call lost. Individual found at Judge Rotenberg Center who made the call, staff is aware.
