Stolen Turkey, Breaking and Entering, and Shoplifting
The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.
Nov. 27:
9:38 a.m. - Faith Way
A caller notified Norton PD that a turkey that had been delivered to their doorstep had been stolen. Then, a caller from that apartement reported her neighbor at 2D is being harassed by a female from 4D who is also the victim of larceny of a turkey. Police responded and advised the party of her options.
11:19 a.m. - Sunrise Dr.
A caller reported a past breaking and entering into her residence. A report was taken.
5:38 p.m. - Mansfield Ave.
Roche Bros reported a larceny at their store.
Joshua Richard, 19, of 2 Natalie Ln., Norton was arrested for shoplifting.
Nov. 28
2:21 a.m. - Taunton Avenue
Amber Gerrish, 26, of 6 Glendale Rd. was charged with operating a motor vehicle without liability policy, bond or security deposit.
3:37 p.m. - Lakeview Ave.
A caller reported someone broke into their residence through their bathroom window. The caller reports nothing was taken. It could have been done by the family dog. A report was taken.
Nov. 29
9:38 a.m. - Old Colony Rd.
A tow truck drove into a fence on the property and drove away, according to a caller. Information was provided to the Norton PD.
