Private Property Struck with Arrow, Pumpkin and Eggs in Norton Police Log: Sept. 29 - 30

Monday, Sept. 29
12:44 a.m.: Village Way, domestic disturbance.
9:40 a.m.: Reservoir/Elm Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports there is a male party ripping through the dumpster and making a mess at the area of the old day care.  Reports he's a picker and he will pick it all up when he's done.
10:32 a.m.: Kensington Road, general disturbance. Caller requests an officer, reports his residence just struck with an arrow. Situation has been resolved peacefully with the neighbors.
4:36 p.m.: S. Washington Street, general services. Caller reports there is a tree down in the road on S. Washington near Horizon Beverage, heading towards the Holiday Inn. Highway is needed to remove the tree.Tree removed.
8:50 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, suspicious condition. Patrolman Young reports two individuals with vehicle in possession of two grinders and a pipe, as well as the smell of marijuana. Information taken, they have been advised and are leaving the area.
9:42 p.m.: E. Main Street, suspicious condition. Patrolman Young reports off on the woods in the area of CFS on East Main Street. Individual reports waiting for friends to meet him for a party, preparations are on site for a campfire. Partygoers advised to clear the area.
10:31 p.m.: Barrows Court, vandalism. Caller reports someone just egged her house. No vehicle description, no direction of travel. Will call back if she hears someone come back.
10:48 p.m.: Lazy Lane, suspicious condition. Patrolman Young reports he and Patrolman Crugnale will be checking a large group of cars in the Lazy Lane/Juniper Beach area. Party is under control, partygoers have advised to keep the noise down. All in attendance are of legal drinking age.
10:52 p.m.: Cobb Street, vandalism. Caller reports he heard a crash approximately 7 to 8 minutes before calling, someone threw a pumpkin through his motor vehicle window. Caller also reports a neighbor chased down a dark colored sedan with four male occupants. Cars report area search negative.
11:02 p.m.: Cross Street, vandalism. Mailbox struck, mail on ground.

Tuesday, Sept. 30
1:44 a.m.: W. Main Street, vandalism. Patrolman Turcotte reports removed white wooden sign from roadway with the words ‘pumpkins’ on it. Sign was deposited in the roadway.
11:32 a.m.: Newland Street, general services. Caller reports tree down by Red Mill Village. Cleared.
12:44 p.m.: Reservoir Street, vandalism. Caller reports she moved out of the residence two weeks ago and came back today to find it vandalized. Reports it's a mess and there are two broken windows in the garage.
10:10 p.m.: Sturdy Street, assisted Attleboro Police Department for residence check. Checked negative.
11:38 p.m.: Morgan Lane, general disturbance. Caller reports noise complaint, loud party with four to five vehicles still at that address. Caller also reports there has been vehicles at that address all day. Sergeant Whitfield reports they have been advised and will be taking it inside.
