Police on the Hunt for a Knife-Wielding Robber

Norton Police Department assisted by Attleboro and Mansfield police in a search for an armed suspect.

Police are on the lookout for a skinny, white male who is 5' 6''  and in his 20s, who robbed another individual on Pleasant Street in Norton at knife point.

Attleboro Police assisted and Mansfield Police Departments in trying to locate the suspect.

Attleboro Police staked out different areas along the Attleboro/Norton line and Mansfield/Norton town line hoping to catch the robber, who police say took off from the scene in a "four-door cranberry GM model vehicle."

Officers thought they had the suspect, when they pulled over a car  that fit the same description of the vehicle in which the suspect fled.

Norton Police would not say where the robbery took place, but Attleboro Police confirmed the robbery took place outside of a house on Pleasant Street. The investigation is still ongoing.
