OUI, Marked Lanes Violation and Breaking and Entering Reported

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 2:

3:17 a.m. - W. Main St.

A caller notified Norton PD of a car that drove into a fence near a cemetery. Police responded and reported two occupants in a single vehicle.

Leo Larson, 21, of 193 W. Main St. was arrested for OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

9:16 a.m. - Old Colony Rd.

A caller reported a past breaking and entering incident into his offices. Police canvassed the area and found negative results. A report was taken.

Nov. 3

1:02 a.m. - W. Main St.

Police pulled over a jeep for a marked lanes violation.

Subsequently, Emerson Jenkins, 22, of 35 W. Main St. was arrested for marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor.

Nov. 4

3:14 a.m. - Mansfield Avenue

Police pulled over a red Honda civic for defective equipment.

Subsequently, James Kangethe, 73, of 30 Oak St., Brockton was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, signal mark violation and an unregistered motor vehicle.
