Norton Town Clerk's Husband Charged With Attempting to Kill Her

James Sicard, the husband of Norton Town Clerk Danielle Sicard, is being held without bail after allegedly tried to kill his wife Thursday.

The husband of Norton town clerk Danielle Sicard is being held without bail after he allegedly tried to kill her Thursday morning, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's office.

CBS-Boston is reporting James Sicard, 44, allegedly told his wife, Danielle that he was going to perform a relaxation technique before violently twisting her head. 

According to police in the CBS-Boston report, Danielle Sicard suffered bruises on her neck and face and received treatment at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital.
