Norton Police Log July 29 and 30: Assault Arrest, Thefts and Motorcycle Crash

July 29

11:19 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on West Main Street. While no injuries were reported, there was damage to a utility pole in which live wires were loose and arcing and there was other damage to private property.

July 30

12:08 a.m. Caller reported her wallet was stolen at Cumberland Farms.

1:10 p.m. Shane Azevedo, 30, of 5 Norton Glen Rd. was arrested for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

5:55 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on Hill Street. No injuries were reported.
