Norton Police Log Jan. 7-11: Assault and Battery, Trees and Gas

The following information was provided by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction. Events noted in this log occurred between Jan. 7, 2013 and Jan. 11, 2013.

Monday, Jan. 7

7:31 a.m. Caller reported two-vehicle collision with no injuries on West Main Street.

8:58 a.m. Caller reported she struck a deer with minor vehicle damage on Eddy Street.

11:49 a.m. Caller reported a two-vehicle collison on Newland Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

7:53 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle collision on East Street with no injuries.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 9

6:28 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on the Route 495 onramp.

Thursday, Jan. 10

7:43 p.m. Caller reported a larceny from an unlocked locker on Pleasant Street.

1:46 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on Mansfield Avenue.

3:35 p.m. Caller reported a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Mansifeld Ave. with airbag deployment. Patients refused medical transportation after a collision with a Columbia Gas truck.

Friday, Jan. 11

12:05 a.m. Sean Williamson, 42, of 11 Sylvan Rd. was arrested for assault and battery.

12:29 a.m. Ryan Alexander Ricard, 28, of 5 Norton Glen Rd. was arrested for assault and battery. Ricard was arrested after a caller reported Ricard assaulted her and he took items in her possession. Police got his license and vehicle make and model from the caller and apprehended him shortly thereafter.

9:02 a.m. Caller reported three catch basins were missing from Codding Road and was reported to be a theft.

5:09 p.m. Caller reported her credit card was stolen.
