The following is the Norton police log for Aug. 9-10.

Aug. 9:
1:42 a.m.-Caller reports white make in gray sweatshirt walking around Norton Glen Road parking lot at doorways. Suspect believed to have gotten in vehicle and left. 
1:57 a.m.-Vehicle towed 495 Northbound, disabled motor vehicle towed.
4:45 a.m.-Sgt. Desfosses reports removing tree that is down on the side of the roof. Highway department contacted.
5:57 p.m.-tree, wires down, South Worcester Street. Highway department notified.
8:59 p.m.Transporting male suspect over line in Easton. Vehicle is off the road, will be getting assistance.
9:17 p.m. Reports of loud fireworks in Norton Glen Road area. Search is negative.
Aug. 10
5:17 a.m. Horse in roadway on South Worcester Street, heading towards Barrows Street. Owners notified.
8:15 a.m. Large tree down in road on North Washington Street. Highway department notified
.9:41 a.m. Vehicle struck by black Porsche, motor vehicle leaving scene. Report taken.
12:21 p.m. Motor vehicle accident with no injuries in front of Cumberland Farms on Mansfield Avenue. 
6:48 p.m. Reporter of a B &E on North Washington Street.
7:33 p.m. Report of larceny on West Main Street, blond, crewcut with a top came in store and allegedly took two cartoons of cigarettes. Subject left in gold Hyundai. Search of area is negative. Video was obtained from management.
