Norton Police Log: April 21 - 27

The following information was supplied by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, April 21
12:44 a.m.: Filmore Drive, numerous reports of loud base.
11:10 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident.
11:31 a.m.: Old Taunton Avenue, vandalism. Caller reports eggs were thrown on his driveway again.
4:53 p.m.: King Philip Road, assisted the fire department with diabetic treatment. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
5:38 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Less than $1,000 in damages.
6:15 p.m.: Beverly Lane, assisted the fire department. Caller reports her neighbors deck is on fire, has not hit the house yet but there a gas grill on the deck. No one home. Columbia Gas and electrical inspector on scene. Deck secured.

Sunday, April 22
11:04 a.m.: Island Road, larceny of key to vehicle and cellular phone charger.
11:27 a.m.: Old Colony Road, motor vehicle accident. No injuries.
12:18 p.m.: Island Road, general disturbance. Fight at end of street, several youths with baseball bats got out of a vehicle. Adults got involved.

Monday, April 23
5:09 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, three-car motor vehicle accident. Transport to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Road closed.
5:18 p.m.: E. Main Street. Police arrested Hector Rene Alvarez Rosales, 44, of Falmouth Street, Attleboro, and charged him with crosswalk violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
7:14 p.m.: E. Main Street, assisted the fire department with pill overdose of a minor. Transport to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Tuesday, April 24
11:24 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, liquor law violation.
6:52 p.m.: Old Colony Road, possible identity theft.

Wednesday, April 25
10:19 a.m.: Harvey Street, vandalism of sign board tires.
2:24 p.m.: W. Main Street, minor motor vehicle accident in parking lot. Less than $1,000 in damages.

Thursday, April 26
10:20 p.m.: Taylor Court, general disturbance. Caller wants 21-year-old daughter to leave and she is refusing to. Upon callback she left.

Friday, April 27
10:27 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, harassment/threats.
1:50 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident. No injuries, less than $1,000 in damages.
3:19 p.m.: W. Main Street, vandalism to motor vehicle.
6:09 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident hit and run.
8:07 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Bicyclist struck by motor vehicle. Transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
