Norton Man Charged with Breaking and Entering in Back Bay

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Boston Police officers were on patrol on Newbury Street at 2 a.m. Nov. 6 as a result of several breaking and entering incidents in recent days.

Officers observed a broken office window at 281 Dartmouth St., Back Bay and observed the suspect sitting on nearby steps on Dartmouth Street. The suspect was found to be in possession of two Dell Laptops, two leather bags, a Compaq tc 4400 laptop, a Lowe pro Camera case and a Sharp Aquos big screen television.

Officers conducted a sweep of the second floor of 281 Dartmouth St. and found a broken window leading to a fire escape, which was accessible through Public Alley 435. All stolen and recovered items were logged in as evidence.

Gerard Cribbie of 415 S. Worcester St., Norton was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a building at night.
