Norton Fire Department Assists With Carriage House Blaze
Fire Officials are investigating the cause of a 2-alarm fire in Easton early Tuesday.
Authorities are investigating the cause of a 2-alarm fire early Tuesday morning that sent multiple fire departments, including Norton, to Turnpike Street in Easton.
The building to formerly house Carriage House Restaurant went up in flames at approximately 3 a.m. Easton Firefighters were also assisted by Raynham, West Bridgewater, Bridgewater, Stoughton and Sharon in putting out the blaze.
No firefighers entered the interior of the building, Easton firefighter Lawrence Blye said, and no injuries occurred.

Easton Fire Chief Kevin Partridge said that while he is unsure as to what could have caused the fire, an electricity can be ruled out. The building had no power running through the building.
Partridge said construction supplies had been stored in the building by the owner, and workers frequented the building, despite lack of electricity.
