Norton Car Accident Sends One to Hospital; Arrests for Break-in and Disturbing the Peace

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 15:

5:57 a.m. - Taunton Ave.

Norton police responded to a single-car motor vehicle accident against a tree. One person was transported to Morton Hospital.

5:38 p.m. - Old Colony Rd.

Douglas A Parlee, 52 of Whalen Dr., Attleboro was arrested for suspicion of malicious destruction or property over $250, larceny over $250 and possession of a burglarious instrument.

7:12 p.m. - E. Main St.

A caller reported his motor vehicle was broken into. Norton Police took a report.

Jan. 16

5:39 a.m. - E. Hodges St.

Robert Clark, 24, of James St., Attleboro was arrested for suspicion of disturbing the peace and attempting to commit a crime.

Jan. 17

8:06 p.m. - Foxborough

Norton Police responded to a 3-car motor vehicle accident on Grove St. in Foxborough. One patient complained of a head injury and the other complained of of a chest injury. Foxborough emergency officials took over the situation.
