Norton Police Log Jan. 4 - 6: Smashed Windshield, Property Damage and Graffiti

The following information was provided by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction. Events noted in this log occurred between Jan. 4 2013 and Jan. 6, 2013.

Friday, Jan. 4

2:40 a.m. Caller reported two mailboxes on Downing Street were vandalized recently. 

7:17 a.m. Caller reporetd two-vehicle collision on Taunton Ave. with no injuries.

11:09 a.m. Caller reported a tree in the road at the TPC Golf Course. Police found the tree was struck and knocked down after an 18-wheeler attempted a three-point turn.

1:59 p.m. Caller reported someone had smashed her windshield during the night while it was parked on West Street with a rock or a bat.

4:27 p.m. Caller reported that a car struck a tree on Bay Road. Minor injuries were treated on scene.

Saturday, Jan. 5
7:31 a.m. Stephen Mardon, 48, of 8 Stephen St. was arrested for felony malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct.
7:57 p.m. Police found fresh graffiti on the Sysco fence on Woodward Street.

Sunday, Jan. 6
4:55 p.m. Caller reported her vehicle was maliciously damaged while parked a the Downtown Café.
