Neighborhood Streaker Turns Himself In

After hours of searching, police have Jacob Duphilly in custody.

Attleboro and were able to stop their search for the Attleboro resident who they  identified as Jacob Duphilly, 19. The naked Attleboro man was caught running around his neighborhood in the area of Forest and Perrin Streets Tuesday afternoon.

Duphilly turned himself in to Attleboro Police, and he is now in custody.

Officers from the Attleboro and along with the unit searched Attleboro streets for several hours Tuesday after Duphilly alluded police.

It was reported that he also approached a female resident while not wearing clothes, according to Det. Sgt. Art Brillon.

During each police response, Duphily was able to elude police. "During at least one of the incidents, an officer was injured while searching for him," Brillon said. "The officer was treated at and released."

Police secured a warrant for Duphilly's arrest on charges of gross lewdness and disturbing the peace.

Law enforcement officials searched for Duphilly and as of 10 a.m. Wednesday had not yet apprehended the streaker.
