Motor Vehicle Accident, Reported 'Flop House' and Reported Assault

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 10:

6:29 a.m. N. Worcester St.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on North Worcester St. No injuries were reported.

11 a.m. Mansfield Avenue

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with one person leaving the scene of the accident.

10:45 a.m. Mansfield Ave.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with one person leaving the scene of the accident.

Sept. 12 

8:13 p.m. N. Washington St.

A caller reported suspicious activity. She reported a few weeks ago people in hazmat suits were coming in and out of the house and now there are several groups of people who seem to come and go at all hours, parking on the lawn, sitting on the stoop. She reports it may be a flop house and would like us [police] to keep an eye on it.

Sept 13

1:43 a.m. N. Main St.

A caller reported he is a victim of a past assault and would like to speak with an officer. He is waiting outside CVS where he walked to use the phone.

One male was put into protective custody.
