Motor Vehicle Accident and Shoplifting

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 9:

2:29 p.m. - W. Main St.

Police received a call regarding a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

Jan. 10:

8:46 a.m. - W. Main St.

A caller from CVS reported a female shoplifter was in the store. Police responded and reported the suspect eventually paid for items. CVS said they would not press charges.

8:55 a.m. - Reservoir St.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident. No injuries or damage to the vehicle was reported.

4:29 p.m. - Leonard St.

A vehicle needed to be pulled out of the woods after a motor vehicle accident. The roadway was shut down in order to pull the vehicle out. No injuries were reported.
