McDonald’s Drive-Thru Drama in Norton Police Log: Dec. 21 - 23

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 21
7:52 a.m.: Old Taunton Avenue, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight. Wallet and change missing. Both cars have items all over the vehicle.
12:36 p.m.: S. Washington Street, assisted Norton Fire Department. Caller reports a tree came down and live wires in the roadway. Roof and gutter damage reported. Patrolman Chmielinski reports cable wires removed from roadway, primary lines down in the yard. National Grid notified and will be calling back with ETA. Comcast also notified.
1:34 p.m.: Newland Street, general services. Caller reports tree blocking the entire roadway. Highway Department on scene.
5:01 p.m.: Bryson Drive, suspicious condition. Caller reports someone was outside and attempting to break into vehicles. About 30 minutes ago his son saw someone in the area of the wood line. Requesting extra patrols and someone check the area. Area search negative.
7:55 p.m.: W. Main Street, harassment/threats. Sergeant Eisnor reports Sergeant Desfosses contacted him from the high school basketball detail. Requesting cars in the parking lot due to threats made against teams.  

Tuesday, Dec. 22
12:04 a.m.: Bay Road, missing person. Caller reports she has not heard from her 29-year-old son since 12:00 yesterday. Caller reports this is out of character for him. At this time caller does not want to file a missing person report until she speaks with her husband. Patrolman Schepis reports father declined having son put into missing persons at this time. Report taken. Father called at 5:08 a.m. and reported that he received a text from his son and he is fine.
1:25 a.m.: N. Washington Street, harassment/threats. Caller reports again she is receiving threats from a male. Caller reports she thinks he lives in Scituate. Caller wants log note only, she will file for a restraining order on her own.
3:37 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue. Police arrested Susan E. Murphy, 41, of School Street, Norton, and charged her with marked lanes violation and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor liquor.
3:45 a.m.: Crane Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports she was awoken around 2:30 a.m., checked front yard and things were out of place. Caller reports possibly ex tenant attempting to get her personal items. Caller advised to call when incidents take place to have an officer
respond. Caller reports she will be sending them trespass notices.  
3:55 a.m.: Sanlin Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports someone was in her yard had and is still in the neighborhood. Subject had a motor vehicle it is now parked in between her house and neighbors. Unknown description of vehicle. Sergeant Desfosses reports male subject was speaking with caller and is there to see her. Ptlm Schepis reports homeowner did not invite male party over and wants him removed.  Ptlm schepis reports he will
be following up on incident, report taken.
8:04 a.m.: Old Taunton Avenue, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Change taken.
10:18 a.m.: Kensington Road, assisted Norton Fire Department. Enroute for 24-year-old female delusional after alcohol withdrawal. She is non violent at this time. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
12:10 p.m.: E. Main Street, general disturbance. Officer requested to the Halfway House for an intoxicated male refusing to leave the establishment.  He has been asked several times and does not want to leave. Sergeant Dennett reports the subject is being trespassed. Subject is off the property.
12:49 p.m.: Smith Street, suspicious condition. Caller requests an officer to collect a syringe he sees on the side of the road. Sergeant Whitfield has the item.
1:11 p.m.: Barrows Street, fraud/embezzlement. Walk in reporting she was approached at the post office by a female requesting to borrow some money and she would pay her back. Reporting party got the females name, number and address but now she won't return her calls. She was advised of options.
3:14 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, general disturbance. Employee from McDonald’s reports there is an irate woman who will not leave the drive thru, reporting that McDonalds owes her money. Patrolman Ruskey reports issue has been resolved, customer was issued a full refund and that was still not enough.
4:01 p.m.: E. Hodges Street, assisted Norton Fire Department with 53-year-old unresponsive female. Possible heart attack, history of strokes. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
4:43 p.m.: Burt Street, suspicious condition. Walk-in reporting he has received a letter from his ex boss that he's concerned about. Sergeant Dennett advised him of his options and took a report.
8:57 p.m.: Elm Street. Police arrested Connor Patrick O’Sullivan, 17, of Reservoir Street, Norton, and charged him with carrying a dangerous weapon, registration not in possession, speeding in violation of special regulation, miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation, possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute and possession of a Class D substance.

Wednesday, Dec. 23
12:00 a.m.: Union Road, harassment/threats. Sergeant Dennett reports two females into the station that are having issues with two males. He advised them of their options with restraining orders and harassment orders. Dennett also reports they declined any actions at this time.
10:56 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Patrolman Cota reports happened in the driveway.
8:21 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, assisted Mansfield Police Department with resident check for male involved in earlier verbal domestic in Mansfield. As he was leaving the scene, he side swiped a motor vehicle, got into an accident and then left on foot. Patrolman Turcotte enroute. Not at home. Mother was advised.
8:26 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, annoying phone calls. Caller reports she was threatened by a male’s girlfriend via text message. Caller requesting extra patrols and will call back should anyone show up.
9:07 p.m.: E. Main Street. Police arrested Soukanh Kasomany, 51, of 4th Street, Attleboro, and charged him with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
9:49 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, domestic disturbance.
