Manhole, Suspicious Man Near Bank and OUI

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 14:

6:53 p.m. - Bay Rd.

A caller reported his manhole cover is sticking up in front of the Chateau. The cover caused damage to the caller's car. The Norton Highway Dept. was called to fix the cover.

Oct. 15

4:49 p.m. - Mansfield Ave.

Mansfield Police reported a call from a motorist reporting someone attempting to break into a vehicle across from the Mobil Home Park. Norton Police responded and the subject checked out.

Oct. 16

4:14 p.m. - W. Main St.

A caller reported a white male with dark hair and a beard with a black hoodie taking pictures of a bank. The subject was on foot. An area search around the bank proved negative.

Oct. 17

12:53 a.m. - W. Main St.

A vehicle was pulled over for defective equipment.
Under arrest was Benjamin Campos, 22, of Old Colony Rd. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

8:57 p.m. - N. Worcester St.

Police received a call from a resident who reported a vehicle crashed into his front yard and the operator appears to be intoxicated.
Under arrest was Lisa Larson, 22, of Oak St. for OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
