Hotel Room Condition, Class D Possession and Motor Vehicle Accident

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not

Dec. 15:

4:16 p.m. S. Washington St.

The hotel called for police to investigate the condition of a room. Hotel representatives said they want a police report in case an outside service needed to be called for cleaning the room.

Dec. 16:

2:11 a.m. - Jacobs Way

Police were called for a group of individuals in a vehicle on Jacobs Way. Upon arrival, a citation was issued for Class D possession.

Dec. 17:

1:52 a.m. - Mansfield Avenue

Police were called regarding a female in the parking lot of Cumberland Farms.

A 36-year-old Dighton resident was placed into protective custody.

7:24 a.m. - E. Main St.

Police responded to a motor vehicle with damage over $1,000. No injuries were reported. A report was taken.
