Hit and Run, Disorderly Conduct and Christmas Stove Fire

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 23:

7:56 a.m. W. Main St.

A caller reported seeing a hit and run in front of his house. Both vehicles left heading towards the center of town. Police were advised.

Dec. 24:

1:45 a.m. - Freeman St.

Laurie Lynn Sullivan, 41, of 169 Norton Ave. Apt. 4 was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

10:54 a.m. - Karol Dr.

A caller reported hearing "rapid fire" gun shots for almost an hour behind his house. An officer responded and checked the area with the homeowner. Shots could still be heard. The officer continued to check the area for the remainder of the shift.

Dec. 25

3:35 p.m. - Barrows St.

Attleboro PD assisted the Attleboro FD in responding to a stove fire.
