1:10 a.m.: N. Worcester Street, domestic disturbance.
10:36 a.m.: Ulmer Farm Road, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in reporting credit card fraud in Texas using Visa.
11:26 a.m.: N. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Caller requests an officer to check on a pickup towing a trailer. Caller reports several subjects inside the truck and they are stopping and going into people's backyards. He does not believe they have permission to do so. Unable to locate vehicle.
6:22 p.m.: Plain Street, suspicious condition. Callers reporting gunshots in the area. Sergeant Eisnor reports hearing no gunshots in area, and no cars on the Town Forest property.
10:16 p.m.: E. Main Street, suspicious condition. Sergeant Dennett and Sergeant Eisnor off in the area investigating a campfire behind CFS. Both parties there check, fire extinguished.
Sunday, Oct. 21
2:02 a.m.: Clapp Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports large group of Wheaton students outside her house being very loud. Wheaton Public Safety reports they took call. Group of
students were watching the meteor showers, they have cleared, all quiet.
2:04 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Patrolman Crugnale reports motor vehicle accident including himself.
2:26 a.m.: W. Main Street. Police arrested Patrick Ryan Traverse, 19, of Brookwood Circle, Norton and charged him with failure to stop or yield, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
8:43 a.m.: W. Main Street, field investigation. Party reports male subject laying on ground. Patrolman King enroute to speak to subject’s parents.
11:25 a.m.: Reservoir Street, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports iPod missing from his unlocked motor vehicle. Requests extra patrols overnights and advised to keep his car locked.
7:40 p.m.: Todd Drive, assisted Norton Fire Department. Caller reports her car is fully in flames, car is parked in the cul-de-sac. Fire knocked down. Scene cleared.
Monday, Oct. 22
7:09 a.m.: New Taunton Avenue, animal incident. Coyote struck and in roadway. Animal Control notified.
10:08 a.m.: Barrows Street, larceny. Walk-in reports his ex-wife may be stealing his mail.
10:51 a.m.: N. Main Street, Mansfield, assisted Mansfield Police Department with bank robbery. No weapon shown. All cars advised.
12:05 p.m.: W. Main Street, harassment/threats.
12:31 p.m.: E. Main Street, assisted another agency. Parole assistance services rendered.
1:21 p.m.: W. Main Street, harassment/threats.
5:36 p.m.: Cobb Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports as he was driving down Cobb Street near the 495 overpass, his car was struck by a can someone had thrown. No real damage to his car, but was concerned that whoever was throwing things could also throw them on the highway. Area search negative.
