A former Poland Spring employee, along with three others, were allegedly stealing bottles from the Norton business.

Norton Police charged four this past week for allegedly stealing water bottles from Poland Spring on Commerce Way.

Jason Nordberg, 33, of Attleboro and Aaron Fortes, 19, of Rehoboth were arrested in the incident. Brian Mallett, 26, of Mansfield, and Christopher Monaco, 33, also of Mansfield were charged after an investigation that began last Thursday.

According to Police, the manager at Poland Spring reported seeing males enter the property on Thursday. Two days after, a Norton Police Officer saw two males enter the property. Nordberg and Fortes were subsequently arrested for trespassing.

Nordberg and Fortes' arrests led to Mallett and Monaco being charged. The four suspects were charged with with trespassing and larceny over $250.

According to police, over 200 bottles have been stolen from the business. Monaco is a past employee of Poland Spring and has been charged with larceny of Poland Spring bottles three times within the last three years, police said.

The four suspects will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court.

The original version of this story said four were arrested. In fact Nordberg, and Fortes were arrested and a total of four will be charged and summonsed to court.
