Drug Arrest, Breaking and Entering and Shoplifting

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 7:

12:53 a.m. East Main St.

Norton Police assisted Wheaton Public Safety in the arrest of one male.

Trevor Laliberte, 22, of Fall River was arrested for suspicion of possession of a Class A substance and possession of a Class E substance.

Sept. 8

12:32 p.m. Cross St.

A caller reported her vehicle was broken into last night. A GPS, camera and internet pack were stolen. Police confirmed the break in.

7:34 p.m. Cross St.

A caller reported to police that their house was egged the night before. The caller said it was an "ongoing issue."

Sept. 9

12:18 p.m. Burt St.

A caller reported that a tenant told him that last Thursday their neighbor allegedly lit off a firework in their unit and it went through the wall and burnt the couch. The tenant was advised to call police.

8:02 p.m. Freeman St.

Police were contacted regarding a shoplifting incident at Stop and Shop. The vehicle was traced and Brockton PD was contacted.
