Disturbance, Breaking and Entering and Fake ID

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 27:

3:49 p.m. North Lakeview Lane

A caller reported two males and a female fighting and causing a disturbance, breaking trash barrels and spilling trash into the roadway. The caller reported an ambulance will be needed for a resident known to the caller for an elbow injury. The victim was brought to Sturdy Memorial and police intend to follow with a statement.

9:15 p.m. Attleboro

The Attleboro police reported an armed robbery at their Seabra Supermarket. A black male with a black hat and mask showed a hand revolver. All cars were advised.

Aug. 28

2:14 p.m. Norton Glen Road
A female came into the station to reported a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. Extra patrols were requested.

Aug. 29

11:44 a.m. Village Way

Police responded to suspicious activity reported by an off-duty officer. A car was parked on the side of the road and two males with backpacks got out and began walking near the woodline. The individuals left the area and a search by police turned out negative.

Aug. 30

6:35 p.m. Howard St.

An underage student was reported to police to have alcohol. He reportedly bought it from a local establishment and claims he was not carded. Upon further investigation, it was discovered he had a false ID on him. Police checked up with the store.
