Breaking and Entering, Panhandling in Norton Police Log: Oct. 8 - 9

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 8
10:15 a.m.: Plain Street, vandalism. Walk-in reporting someone may have entered the residence
at above to remove copper pipes.
11:49 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Two motorcycles involved, appears no
injuries. Both vehicles were able to leave under own power. Less than $1,000 in damage.
2:14 p.m.: Freeman Street, missing person. Walk-in reporting a missing female. Last seen at about 1:30 a.m. at the Charlie Horse where they had an argument. Lieutenant Jackson reports female was arrested by the State Police on Sunday.
2:20 a.m.: Richardson Avenue, assisted Mansfield Police Department. Mansfield requested an officer to meet them for a motor vehicle complaint from a resident in their town. Mansfield already spoke to the mom, she is going to handle it on her end.
5:19 p.m.: W. Hodges Street, general disturbance. Caller reports male party banging on the windows of his car. She reports he is in no shape to drive. When asked if he was intoxicated, she stated that he was on something. Male was picked up by a sober party. This stemmed
from a domestic incident in Berkley.
6:08 p.m.: Faith Way, general disturbance. Caller reports male neighbor from upstairs threw a hubcap down the stairs at her. Sergeant Eisnor reports nothing to go on other than statements from both parties. They have both been advised and were given voluntary statement forms to fill out.
7:05 p.m.: Barrows Court, vandalism. Report that house was egged. All units advised extra patrols in the area.
7:56 p.m.: Cobb Street, vandalism. Reporting party requests officer for vandalism to vehicle. Subject reports his windshield was cracked.  
8:10 p.m.: E. Main Street, general disturbance. Reporting party witnessed subjects drag racing down street. He has followed the vehicles to Quick Stop and requests officer. Peace restored, all parties advised.
8:12 p.m.: Bay Road, suspicious activity. Caller reports white male in late teens standing in the roadway trying to flag cars down. He is wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark sweatpants. Area search negative.

Tuesday, Oct. 9
11:01 a.m.: Ware Street, Mansfield. Assisted Mansfield Police Department with an interrupted breaking and entering. Suspect is a white male wearing a tan beanie and a blue jacket. He fled on foot. Plymouth County Sheriff's Office reports they are sending out a reverse 911 call to a 1
mile radius regarding incident. Mansfield Police reports they can break down the perimeter.
11:34 a.m.: W. Main Street, suspicious condition. Incident called in from the principal of the middle school. There are reports of an older gentlemen outside the house by the community playground in the mornings asking the kids for money. Requesting extra patrols.
2:20 p.m.: Clapp Street, breaking and entering of a building. Wheaton Public Safety to building for past breaking and entering within the hour. They are reporting a broken window that was not there an hour ago. All units clear after an extensive search of the residence.
5:47 p.m.: Plain Street, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports break in, not sure if anyone is still on the property.
7:44 p.m.: Bay Road, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports her home was broken into during the day. No forced entry or jewelry missing. Information and report taken.
