Breaking and Entering, Car Crash and Suspicious Pizza Delivery

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 12:

3:54 p.m. - Mansfield Ave.

A caller reported her house was broken into. Detectives and police responded and a report was taken.

Dec. 13:

6:09 a.m. - W. Main St.

A caller reported being cut off by a white Ford Mustang traveling at a very high rate of speed. The vehicle had just passed the high school. An area search proved negative.

Dec. 14:

3:38 p.m. - W. Main St.

A caller reported a 3-car motor vehicle accident. One person was taken to the hospital as a result of the accident.

5:17 p.m. - Wampum Rd.

A caller reported a pizza delivery person at her door looking for another address. The caller contacted the pizza restaurant and the restaurant said they did not deliver after a certain hour. Extra patrols were requested in the neighborhood.

10:43 p.m. - Mansfield Avenue

A caller reported a two-car accident near the golf course. Police responded and reported no injuries. A transport to the hospital was unnecessary.
