Bicyclist Hits Truck in Norton Police Log: Sept. 15 - 17

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Sept. 15
12:12 a.m.: Elm Street, suspicious discussion. Reporting party reports she believes she heard a gunshot in the area. Area search negative.
12:22 a.m.: Howard Street, assisted another agency. Officers requested to area for approximately 200 people gathering. All units off. Crowd dispersed.
2:38 a.m.: Bay Road, motor vehicle accident. Property damage at 12 Bay Road. Vehicle towed. National Grid contacted.
8:56 a.m.: E. Hodges Street, harassment/threats. Property line posts were taken down by neighbor.
12:55 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in reports fraudulent collection for MS is happening in her neighborhood. Lt Jackson is aware of this, has been in touch with the MS association and has tried to contact the subject concerning this matter, but has not been able to at this time, but will continue the investigation.
4:18 p.m.: E. Main Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports possible drunk driver. Female operator contacted, said she was using her cell phone. Operator was advised.

Sunday, Sept. 16
2:15 a.m.: King Philip Road, general disturbance. Caller reports loud party. Unknown amount of people at that residence. Music turned off.
8:45 a.m.: Summer Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports his wife was turning from Summer Street to Taunton Avenue and her passenger window shattered. He is unsure if it was from someone shooting a BB gun or something in the area. He requested a log note.
1:00 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, suspicious condition. Caller reports three to four youths in the area of a building who are throwing things around where the new sewer pipes are. Patrolman Schepis spoke to the parents, they are going to handle it.
6:35 p.m.: Bay Road, larceny. Caller reports 15 gallons of gas and three containers were stolen from his property and is requesting an officer. Called back to report that he has
found the gas. An employee had moved the containers.
7:57 p.m.: Spring Lane, domestic disturbance.

Monday, Sept. 17
12:01 a.m.: W. Main Street, assisted Norton Fire Department. Report of a 32-year-old female seizing, unconscious. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.  
2:14 p.m.: S. Lakeview Road, vandalism.
4:31 p.m.: S. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Party into station requesting how to trespass someone and to report suspicious activity at their residence. They were advised by Sergeant Eisnor.
6:08 p.m.: Reservoir Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports there are two individuals dressed in black in their backyard and her mom is trying to escort them off the property. Subjects were college students taking pictures. Sergeant Eisnor has spoken to them and has their information and spoke with the homeowner.
5:37 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Youth rode bike into pickup truck. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. No major injuries.
