Bank Alarm, Needle and Spoon, and Breaking and Entering

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 18:

7:04 p.m. - W. Main St.

A representative from Mansfield Bank called and requested a dispatch for multiple alarms. The janitorial services were having an issue with the alarm panel. Police were updated.

Sept. 19:

10:34 a.m. - Mansfield Ave.

A caller from Roche Brother's reported a hyperdermic needle and a spoon found in the parking lot. Extra patrols were requested.

5:06 p.m.

Mansfield reported they received a call for a two car accident on the town line. Upon arrival, Norton PD reported three cars involved. There were no injuries and no fluid leaks. All parties exchanged information.

5:21 p.m.

A caller reported he was involved in a hit and run. His vehicle, a silver Dodge Avenger was pulled off the road. A witness was following the other car to try to get information. The car headed towards the Easton town line. Police were negative on the search near the Easton line.

Sept. 20

3:36 p.m. - Beach St.

A caller reported a possible breaking and entering incident at their residence.
